Ministry Update

It's been a wonderful spring of ministry with events in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Maine! And personally, we also graduated another senior, and that is just hard to believe. Our son, Noah, will be heading off to college in just a few months, and we are so proud of and happy for him even as it's bittersweet to move to a new phase of life. For those who know Noah's story, you know this is truly a miracle to praise God for. Who knew when we met Noah 9 years ago in China, so sick, and with so much stacked against him that we would have this healthy, happy, TALL, kind, funny, intelligent graduating senior? Praise God, indeed.

Sponsor an Orphan and have a Personal Video or Phone Call!

I have been a Compassion International artist for over 12 years, and I connect some of the poorest kids in the world to sponsors at my speaking events. Normally I will get 2-4 orphans in each group of kids. Last week I did an event and got 38 orphans which has never happened in my career! However, that event was in an economically depressed area, and we were unable to match the majority of those kiddos. They are breaking my heart! If you would consider helping, I'd love to set up a personal video or phone call to answer any of your questions and show you the kids we have waiting. No pressure at all if you choose not to! I'd just love to find some of these kiddos help.

About Compassion. They are the top ranked child sponsorship organization in the world for fiscal accountability, and they are highly, highly reputable. They've been around 70 years, and their program has been incredibly successful in releasing kids from poverty. It works by partnering with local churches in their communities. For $43 per month you can cover all your child's necessities such as food, housing, education, and medical care including health care for their families and vocational training for parents. You can also write to your sponsored child and you are welcome to share your faith with them. To qualify for the program, children have to be in the bottom 2% of income for the world which means their families all make less than $2 per day. I've been in the field with Compassion several times, and their work is truly incredible.
