Statement of Faith

• I believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and the final authority for faith and practice.
• I believe there is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
• I believe that all are sinners who are separated from God by their sin and are totally unable to save themselves.
• I believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Christ and is from God alone.
• I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Through His perfect life and sacrificial death He is the Savior of all who have faith in Him.
• I believe in the historic Christian faith as confessed in the Apostles' Creed.

 

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,

maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

and born of the virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, died and was buried.

He descended into hell.

On the third day He rose again from the dead.

He ascended into heaven

and sits at the right hand of the Father.

From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Christian church,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting. Amen.
