Have Mercy On Me (Psalm 51)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great compassion.
For my sin is always before me, against You, You only have I sinned.
O God, have mercy on me.

Cleanse me and I will be clean.
Wash me and I will be whiter than the snow.
O show Your joy to me.
Let me rejoice gladly.
Erase all my iniquity.
Have mercy on me.

Create in me a pure heart for you.
Renew in me the steadfast spirit You desire.
Don't take Your holy spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of being free.
Give me a willing spirit to agree.
Have mercy on me.
