Merry Christmas & Special Offer!

I can’t believe it’s already the Christmas season, but here it is, and I just can’t stop thinking about Emmanuel, God With Us. Halleluia! I wrote about it below, and am so amazed at the love of God, that He would send us the most perfect present ever given in the form of His Son, Jesus. He is an amazing God!

I have been on the road almost constantly for the last month. First I did a radio and ministry tour through Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota, then flew down to lead guest worship in Florida before having the amazing blessing of boarding a cruise ship with my entire family of 19 for Thanksgiving! Apart from someone trying to sink the ship (for real, check out the story on my blog!) we had a great time. Then I headed home to prep for a women’s event in Cincinnati. This week I’m headed to Wadsworth, Ohio, and then on to Pittsburgh. Some math from it all - I traveled over 7000 miles through 11 states and 4 countries in two weeks and 5 days, driving 4000 of those miles. It was nuts! But it was also great to see what God is doing and to meet all the fabulous people I was with in that time.

I wanted to let you know that we are offering FREE SHIPPING this month at my store for any orders over $25. That’s two CDs, and we only do this once a year for Christmas, so take advantage! We’re offering it until 12/17/10, so don’t forget to get some for you and for your list. :) In a very real way, when you buy our products, you are keeping us on the road - this is how we support our ministry! So thank you so much for your support, we really appreciate it, and would love to be a part of your Christmas this year. This applies to US orders only, thanks.

I hope you have a truly wonderful Christmas. I know it can be a hard time for a lot of people, myself included, but let’s remember that we are celebrating Emmanuel, God With Us. He is with us, and that is reason to celebrate!

In Christ,

Jennifer

Emmanuel

God With Us

This is the time of year when I feel so emotionally pulled in opposite directions, it’s hard to even know what to feel. I love seeing the joy in my children’s eyes as they realize that Christmas is getting closer. I miss my dad so much sometimes I ache. I am overwhelmed with the love of God this season as I think of the sacrifice He made for us. I know the pain so many of my friends and family feel as they are missing loved ones or lonely or out of a job. It just seems that everything is heightened this time of year.

What is also heightened for me, though, is that God is not unaware. God knows these things, and God is with us. Not only that, He can handle it. And, most exciting for me of all, the world’s not always going to be like this - He is coming again.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

This is the promise of Christmas. A child has been given, and He is Emmanuel, God With Us. And He is coming again, and in Him is everlasting life. That life is not just for eternity, it is for now. It is for today. It is the peace the passes understanding. It is our hope. It is our joy. It is Christmas.

I pray today that you know Emmanuel, God With You. I do, and it has changed everything. I want you to have that too - it’s the best Christmas gift you could ever receive.
