My new book is here!

Merry Christmas!

Not only is this my favorite time of year, but I am so excited to finally be able to share my big news - my new book is here! I can’t even tell you how exciting it is to have it finished. It has been a long road, but I am so pleased with the final project, and I am praying and hoping that God will use it in amazing ways to encourage people and to help a lot of kids and families.

Life Not Typical is my family’s story, a story about a very difficult time in our lives as we struggled through my dad’s fatal illness, my miscarriage, and our son’s struggle with Sensory Processing Disorder as well as the birth of this ministry. But more importantly, it’s a story about God and His faithfulness, and the hope that we have in Christ. I don’t want to give anything away, but you’re going to be smiling by the end.

“From confusion and frustration to hope and a miracle, Jennifer’s story is compelling and honest. In the midst of her pain, she learns great truths - there is a God, He is faithful, and His promises are trustworthy. You will love this book!” - Gary Treichler, Pastor, Vista Community Church

We’ve also included resources to help parents who may be concerned about their own children. SPD is related to autism, and is becoming epidemic in our country. My son Toby’s story shows what is truly possible with early intervention. We hope it will help so many other parents!

“An inspiring book filled with hope which clearly demonstrates the profound impact early intervention can have on special needs children. Highly recommended!”**- Nancy Grandstaff, School Psychologist

The book has national distribution in January, but you can get it now at my store. We are also running a special (at the top of the store page) on different bundles which are great for Christmas gift ideas. When you purchase our products, you are in a very real way keeping me on the road doing ministry, and we thank you!

In other news, so much has been happening, I will just refer you to my blog. This letter can’t hold it all! There are lots of exciting things coming up as well - I’m recording a new song next week also called “Life Not Typical”, and it will go to radio in January. I’m also filming a video for that in January, so look for that sometime in February. And in February, my husband and I are going on a music and missions tour to Thailand with Remember Nhu, a group that is working to save children from trafficking. There will be more on that in future, but we are so excited to see how God can better use us in this incredibly important fight.

Thanks so much for reading - I wish you could see through your screen how excited I am to share this book with you! Please write us with any questions, comments, or just to tell us what’s going on with you! We love to hear from you, and we always pray for the requests we get.

I hope you have an amazing Christmas, and that you remind yourself everyday that Jesus was the most incredible gift ever given - He is the reason for everything!

In Christ,

Jennifer
